ADRIAC

Oceanographic forecasts of temperature, salinity, currents, sea level, and wave parameters (height, direction, and period) for the entire Adriatic basin. Hourly predictions are provided up to +72 hours from the Adriac coupled ocean-atmosphere-wave-sediment transport model (based on COAWST – Coupled Ocean-Atmosphere-Wave-Sediment Transport) implemented within the operational forecasting system of Arpae Emilia-Romagna.
The map visualization presents the hourly variables forecasted by the model: temperature (in degrees Celsius), salinity (in practical salinity units), velocity (in meters per second) and direction of currents, sea level (in meters), significant wave height (in meters), wave period (in seconds), and wave propagation direction.
